EVENTS IN-STORE
You really can cook anything on an Aga - it’s true! However, sometimes you need someone to show you the Aga way of doing things. Whether you’re the Aga expert or a complete novice, our regular demonstrations are here to help and entertain you. Why not start with one of our Day in the Life demonstrations, to ensure the basics are there so you know what your cooker is and what tools you need to go with it. Then, move on to our themed demonstrations to get some great ideas for entertaining.

See our in-store experts demonstrating how to lock in the flavour of the finest local ingredients and get the most from your Aga - whether you have one or not! There is always plenty to see, do and taste with mouthwatering samples, your questions answered and much more.
Saturday 27th September: Local Life Event
Our beautiful showroom in Vale Farm proudly hosted a day dedicated to the delights and quality of locally produced foods. Demonstrator James McIntosh was on hand to cook up an assortment of delicious dishes. James used a number of locally sourced ingredients in his menu, and illustrated the unique ways in which an Aga cookes food to perfection! 
We were proud to have some of our partner producers as guest speakers at our event. Shawn Haddaway of Darn Spice chatted to guests about his company, introducing them to his exciting products including spice rubs, a daring (yet delicious) chilli-chocolate and his award winning chilli sauce. We also had Fraser of Pink Syrups discussing his and tasty products which include delicious fruit syrups (which happen to be award winning too!).
Our various producers set up attractive stalls within the shop - giving a real market feel to our showroom. From the dairy delights from Adderson Dairy, to fresh vegetables from Garden Friends, home produced meats from Browns of Stagsden and the chillies, plants and sauces of Edible Ornaments - each producer was a proud testiment of the great range of foods we have on our doorstep. And for something a little different, we had local business, Gilly's Jewellery, displaying beautiful handmade neck.JPG) laces, bracelets and earrings.
All our customers agreed it was a great event and they loved the support and encouragement we gave to our local, independant suppliers and producers. We loved our producers enthusiasm and dedication just as much - and hope to work with them again in the near future!

James McIntosh is an energetic, fun and informative Aga demonstrator. For his Aga Christmas demonstrations, James will be showing how easy it is to cook a Christmas dinner on the Aga, all in an hour and a half. James will be demonstrating a mix of traditional and modern recipes to help your family have a stress free, Aga Christmas.

Colour is vitally important, so fundamental and influential in terms of style, appropriateness, mood, vogue, it necessarily demands the utmost consideration. Decisions can depend on a landscape of factors.
Directional light, the type of house, room, traditional or modern, existing furniture, rugs, pictures and not least, personality; yours and your home.
Instore or Home Colour Consultation
A free instore consultation appointment can be arranged with your local showroom. Alternatively, for a fee, we will visit your home to provide your home colour consultation and take measurements of your room.You will have the opportunity to discuss your tastes and requirements including:
Discuss colour, style and appropriate usage of Fired Earth tiles, paint, wood flooring.
We will suggest design and colour schemes, demonstrating samples of products.
We will also provide estimates for your chosen products and guide prices for tile or wood flooring installation.
KITCHEN PLANNING SERVICE
This is an opportunity for you to utilise the planning and design skills of our team for your kitchen including furniture, paint, wall and floor tiles or wood flooring. For a fee our Kitchen Planning Service includes:
Home Visit
Free Fired Earth catalogue and paint card.
Discuss colour, style and appropriate usage of Fired Earth furniture, tiles, paint and wood flooring.
Suggest design and colour schemes, demonstrating samples of products.
Take measurements of your kitchen.
Plan the appropriate positioning of your Original Shaker or Bastide kitchen furniture.
Discuss budgets and timescales form deliveries.
Design Pack
Sample loans to the value of £100/€150 (applies to wall and floor tiles and wood flooring) to be returned on the conclusion of the project.
Estimates for all products and tile and wood flooring installation where appropriate.
A scaled plan of your kitchen with furniture positioning.
A moodboard and visual representation of your kitchen.
Upon placing your order you will receive elevations and specifications.
FIRED EARTH TILING INSTALLATION SERVICE
We operate a national tiling service for the fixing of both floor and wall tiles. We will be happy to provide you with a free estimate without obligation for the work you are undertaking, and our showrooms will explain the procedure for obtaining an estimate. Please contact your nearest showroom for more information. By using our tilers you will minimise the risk of incorrect work being carried out and we will take responsibility for ensuring that you order the correct quantity of tiles, adhesive, grout, sealer etc.
