Coming into Ludlow from Shrewsbury, Rickards is situated on the main road through to Hereford, the A49.
About the shop
The Aga shop in Ludlow is situated in Rickards # an old-fashioned ironmongers which has been in existence since 1864. The shop is on The Bull Ring, which is the same street as the famous Jacobean Feathers Hotel.
Meet the team
Manager Sarah Levi
Sarah used to work at the Kidderminster shop and has worked at Aga for eight years. When not at the shop, she loves to cook on her Rayburn at home
Sybil Marsh, manageress of Rickards, has worked for the company for more than 40 years.
Gill
Has worked in the Aga shop for 29 years
Harold
Has worked in Rickards for more than 50 years. He retired last year, but comes back twice a week.
Together, the team “muck in together” in both Rickards and the Aga section of the shop.
Demonstrations
Call the shop to reserve a place for the demonstrations. This is a must as it is a very small showroom and the demonstrations are popular.
